11/06/11 — First encounter:
On her birthday, it seemed like there had been an earthquake,
but really we had just been visited by a frost giant
who had come to make a special delivery to Darbi.
Our calm night was demolished suddenly
by banging thuds, shaking the whole house.
Three crashing knocks nearly broke the front door.
Once Darbi and Maria gathered the courage
to brave the “quake” and answer the door,
they only found a dragon egg on the porch
with a note addressed to Darbi.
UPDATE #1:
We’re still waiting for Orohorn to return from the Bronze War.
We recently found two severed hands near the battlegrounds of 81st and Lewis
and realized they must be from a fallen Bronze Giant.
UPDATE #2:
Darbi crafts a protective fairy house to protect and nest the egg.
05/18/12 — UPDATE #3:
Orohorn returned unexpectedly from the Bronze War to deliver Darbi a note.
The house shook once again in Orohorn’s massive presence.
Darbi, immediately aware of the lack of time to glimpse him,
fleetly took to the windows to see the legendary Frost Giant.
There outside, moving quickly around the corner,
was a bluish blur escaping, nearly undetected.
On the porch was a note.

05/19/12 — UPDATE #4:
Darbi carefully transported the fairy house to the Hidden Glen.
The fairies marveled at Orohorn’s egg inside the impressive house.
With a sprinkle of fairy dust,
they summoned their friend,
Boris, the dragon expert.
Boris measured.
Boris listened.
Boris magicked.
